WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
1) Contact ZEE Systems, Inc. via email, phone or fax to
receive a RMA “Return Materials
Authorization” number. This number will track your product at our facility. For
ZEE Systems, Inc. contact information visit our website at
www.zeeco-zeesys.com.
Return transportation charges are to be paid by the
customer. If warranty is allowed ZEE Systems, Inc. will return the unit(s)
freight prepaid via the same incoming carrier method.
2) Please ship your unit freight prepaid to:
ZEE Systems, Inc.

San Antonio, TX 78216
3) Please mark the outside of the box with “RMA#######”.
4) Please reference the RMA number on all paper work sent
with the returned part(s).

Material returned without our authorization will not be accepted for
warranty.

All freight damage claims must be made within five days after receipt of
material.
Units must be received complete and assembled with tamper
seals unbroken. In some cases ZEE will authorize some disassembly for
troubleshooting in the field. Contact Kevin Zaiontz (x202) at ZEE to obtain
permission prior to disassembly to maintain warranty eligibility. This
permission will be noted on our in house RMA document information.
ZEE Systems, Inc. may repair or replace component(s) found
to be in warranty which have a defect. The time remaining on the warranty will
continue from the original purchase date (not start over).
If the component is out of warranty or inspection indicates
the failure was caused by conditions, not covered by warranty, i.e. misuse,
damage, operating outside of specifications, unauthorized design change or
customer modification, a quote for repairs will be issued prior to repairs. A
minimum inspection fee of $50.00 will be charged to each out of warranty item,
as well as in warranty parts found to have no defects, even if the unit is
scrapped at our facility. Customer is responsible for return transportation
charges for items not covered under warranty.
Normal scheduled service and product maintenance is not
covered under warranty. It is the responsibility of the end user to maintain
their components in accordance with published maintenance schedules.
5) Please provide the following information with the
item(s):
RMA number
Shipping/Billing information
Purchase Order number
Part Number
Serial Number or original ZEE Invoice number
(must provide S/N if unit was received from an OEM or
distributor)
TSN (if known)
Description of Failure (if known)
Any pertinent information that will be helpful in documenting your warranty
claim.
CONDITIONAL WARRANTY
ZEE
Systems, Inc. warrants all components to be free from defects in material and
workmanship when operated under its designed and intended use for period of one
installed year or 1,000 (one thousand) operating hours which ever comes first.
This warranty provides
that during the warranty period any component that fails or does not operate
within design specification may be repaired or replaced at no charge to the
customer. No agreement or promise is made to reimburse for labor or refrigerant
losses or loss of use involved in the replacement of these components.
Components operated in
a manner for which it was not intended or due to operator error, accidental or
intentional misuse are not covered under this warranty.
Components damaged in
shipment are not covered under this warranty. Claims for such damage should be
processed through the carrier.
Defective parts must be
returned to ZEE Systems, Inc. in accordance with the WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
shown above. ZEE Systems, Inc. retains final judgment regarding warranty
determination until suspect component is inspected and cause of failure is
determined.
ZEE Systems, Inc. will
retain all components or information on which a warranty judgment is made for
observation by the customer.
There are no
representations, warranties, or conditions, expressed or implied, statutory or
otherwise, except those contained herein. ZEE Systems, Inc. assumes no liability
for damages, losses or injuries, direct or consequential, that may arise from
use or inability to use its products.
ENGINEERING
DESIGN RESPONSIBILITY
ZEE Systems, Inc.
reserves the right to make engineering changes and improvements which do not
effect the fit, form or function, including part number changes and superseding
part numbers, to all parts under ZEE's design control without prior
notification.
Changes that could
effect the fit, form or function of the part or system will, at ZEE's
discretion, be made with written notification to the engineering, purchasing or
agency representative.
